The RUKKA Him gloves offer proper ventilation features for hot riding conditions. Short cuffs allow direct air flow in the sleeves and the sand color option slightly lower sun absorbing effect. The backhand CORDURA® shell fabric allows constant ventilation and slow air flow through the construction. The air flow is very relevant and necessary for motorcycle riding in hot weather. It cools the skin and removes the sweat making the hands more comfortable, but also ensures that the hands remain operational. Generally if the hands become too hot, the skin gets wet and the rub damages the skin easily creating sore spots and blisters. Therefore proper ventilation is a basic hot weather allroad touring glove feature. In addition the MC approved CORDURA® is very abrasion and tear resistant shell fabric providing basic sliding protection features.

The RUKKA Him gloves are comfortable and natural in use. The gloves are lightweight and the combination of CORDURA® and CLARINO suede construction is also soft and very flexible. The pre-shaped palms and pre-curved fingers with elasticated articulations allow to keep the hands in grip position without any pull effect or resistance. The thin CLARINO -palm construction provides exact feel and feedback from the controls. The synthetic leather works quite well also with smartphone display unlike real. The single layer leather construction eliminates so called liner shifting completely. The synthetic leather is durable and abrasion resistant which makes the CLARINO ideal for such high wear areas with demanding functionality and comfort requirements. The silicone flecking on the hottest spot and on the finger tips provides extra grip which is beneficial especially in dusty allroad riding conditions.

The RUKKA Him glove offers an average protection against impact due to higher ventilation requirements. On the other hand there are good slide protection features. The HIM glove has no carbon knuckle guard which would dominate the backhand and reduce efficient ventilation surface as well. Instead the knuckles have foam padding and ceramic SuperFabric plates with high abrasion resistance ability. The same applies for the ring and the little finger. The index and the middle finger have TPR guards and the thump has a basic foam pad. On the backhand below the CORDURA® shell there is also polyester lining providing structural volume for better air flow and light padding against bigger insects for example.

On the palm side the RUKKA Him glove has abrasion and tear resistant CLARINO suede with double layer reinforcements. On top of that there is foam padding with ceramic SuperFabric plates protecting the heel and the wrist area. Exceptionally the HIM gloves have extended wrist protection tab which becomes useful when sliding on the ground hands bent backward a little bit and wrists more exposed. The extended tabs protect also the protruding ULNA bone which could be easily damaged. The real leather finger tips provide long term durability from the lever handling point of view.
