FORCEFIELD Body Armour PRO Shirt XV and bottom are an interesting combination of a technical base layer and an impact protection system. The PRO shirt and bottom offer an advantage to change the shell garments according to need without transferring the protectors between the suits. On the other hand, the PRO shirt and bottom function as a technical base layer which is able to transfer sweat from the skin, protect the skin against the shell suit and keep the rider more comfortable. The shock absorption is accomplished with Nitrex® memory foam inserts. The Nitrex® is light, flexible and able to recover from impacts which makes it ideal for the task. The FORCEFIELD Body Armour PRO Shirt XV and bottom incorporate additional protectors compared to the conventional motorcycle shell suits. A large chest protector has multiple layers of Nitrex® just like the back protector which officially exceeds the CE level 2 requirements. The shoulder, elbow and knee protectors are anatomically molded Nitrex®. The PRO bottom has protectors all around and the hip inserts fulfill the CE level 1 standards.
The FORCEFIELD Body Armour PRO Shirt XV and bottom offer body temperature regulation as a technical base layer. The breathable and flexible fabric is made of BeCool fibers that are anti-bacterial. The cut is anatomic and the base layer is able to follow the body shapes closely. This eliminates wrinkles and maximizes the surface in contact with the skin. Therefore the PRO shirt and bottom are able to work efficiently with the sweat and support a comfortable body temperature in hot riding conditions. Note that the rider could wear on top the PRO shirt and bottom a hot weather motocross outfit which allows a maximum air flow through the garment. That would be the most simple and best ventilated setup for adventurous touring scenarios. The fast wicking PRO shirt and bottom could be machine washed frequently which supports the traveling requirements nicely. In addition the technical base layer protects the skin against the shell suit interior which often has some hard parts and few sharper edges damaging the skin especially at high temperatures.
