RUKKA Imatra Gore-Tex® Gloves with Long Cuffs

RUKKA Imatra Gore-Tex® motorcycle gloves with long cuffs, waterproof Gore-Tex® membrane and moisture regulating Outlast lining are designed for colder and changing weather conditions. The RUKKA Imatra Gore-Tex® motorcycle gloves offer versatile weather protection. The Gore-Tex® keeps the rain outside and protects against the chilly winds together with the leather structure. Beneath the shell the Outlast lining regulates the temperature inside the glove by storing the excessive moisture and releasing it when appropriate, keeping hands dry and as comfortable as possible. The Outlast lining adapts to changes and expands the range of temperatures ideal for IMATRA gloves. There are no ventilation features, but the Gore-Tex® membrane is the most breathable choice there is. Note that the main color is black which reacts the most to the direct sun, being in favor when cold and vice versa when the temperature exceeds the comfort zone.

The RUKKA Imatra Gore-Tex® gloves have good impact protection features. The real leather shell structure has double leather reinforcements on high wear and impact areas. On the backhand the knuckle protector with foam cushion is anatomically pre-shaped and creates no pull effect. Small but hard protectors with foam cushion shield 4 fingers and the little finger has additional leather layer all around and bound to the ring finger. On the palm side there is a plastic LUNATE protector with foam cushion to spread the impact on a larger area. The foam cushion simply brings additional comfort and eliminates pressure points. The CARPAL lunate and scaphoid bones easily suffer from impacts when sliding off the road. The plastic protector slides well and creates no additional pressure to the shoulders. It has one more function which may not be even intentional, but when the edge of the LUNATE protector is placed agains the grip, it works as a kind of wrist rest or cruise assist.

The RUKKA Imatra Gore-Tex® motorcycle gloves have touchscreen conductive fingertips which allows to use smartphones and tablets gloves on. The IMATRA index finger and the thump have special surface material which is conductive and simulates bare fingers, but naturally thick motorcycle gloves are no match for bare hands and the accuracy is not the same. Never the less the rider can use the touchscreen and take care of simple operations even on the move. The RUKKA Imatra Gore-Tex® gloves have external seams on the palm side of the fingers, providing additional comfort and room. Note that a snug fit would be colder and fingers needs the extra space to stay warm in the coldest conditions. Another advantage is that external seams do not create any pressure on fingers. The long IMATRA cuffs are not too thick and they can be also placed below the sleeves too. Since some of the MC jackets have double cuffs to create a some kind of air flow lock, this is a relevant detail for some of us.
